Lululemon
To begin, lululemon has become a fashionable trend for a lot of females in today’s society. Why do so many girls like this? Lululemon is very comfortable, and it goes with a lot of things! It can create the perfect outfit with some of their Align leggings and their Swiftly Tech shirts. Lululemon is very expensive, though. If anyone is looking for something like it but doesn’t want to pay the price, there are a ton of other options that are very similar to Lululemon, and you can barely tell a difference in looks other than the logos. Some girls might not like Lululemon, and that is fine! Everyone has their own style and tastes in clothes. You don’t have to buy everything that is trending. Everyone has different styles. In 6th grade, Kara Soules says, “I think Lululemon is preppy, and I like the tops and how they match.” Out of all the interviews, 25 people voted for Lululemon.
Nike
Moving on, Nike shoes are a very popular trend that both middle school boys and girls enjoy. Nike shoes can almost go with anything that you want to wear. They are very simple, good shoes. They also make all kinds of different shoes, such as Jordan’s. Jordan’s come in all different colors and types, so if you want, you could match an outfit you are wearing with a pair of Jordans so that your whole outfit can match! You could also go with Nike Blazers, which are very popular, and those would match almost anything you want to wear! Nike shoes are very good options if you want something that matches anything. If you want some other trending shoes, there are brands like Converse, Adidas, and On Clouds. 7th grader Jace Duvall says, “I like Jordan’s because I like the way they feel and they can match with any outfit. And also, they are drippy.”
Skin Care
Another big item that is trending right now is different types of skincare. Skincare has been around for years, but a lot of teens use a variety of products now. Some trending skincare items at the moment are Drunk Elephant, Bubble, Byoma, Cera-ve, Glow Recipe, and a lot more. Skincare is mostly popular because of how good it is for your skin. Most of the girls we interviewed at BGJHS said they liked Drunk Elephant and Bubble, which are both very good for your skin.
Makeup
There are a lot of makeup brands out there. But at our school, most people liked to use Elf, Sky High, Charlotte Tilbury, and Rare Beauty. A 7th grader at our school, Harper Ford, said, “I like Elf because it’s cheap and it works well.” Another 7th grader, Amyra Wheat, said, “I like Rare Beauty because there are many colors to choose from.” We interviewed a lot of people, but these two are the ones that like these brands the most. 7th grader Gwen King said she likes Elf “because it’s pretty.”
Overall, people like to purchase more trendy items because of how good the quality is. Yes, students at BGJHS like these things, but there are all kinds of good reviews all over the world. Based on the interviews we’ve done, we can conclude that tons of teens like to buy trendy stuff.
