In the NBA, a big trade between the Lakers and the Mavericks happened in February. The traded players were Luka Dončić from the Mavericks and Anthony Davis from the Lakers. With the Mavs losing their star player, 8th grader Josey Coleman stated, “It was going crazy”. What 8th grader Josey means is that the Lakers are going to go crazy with Luka Doncic on the team as a new addition.

 I asked Jalen Jessup how he felt that Luca got traded to the Lakers. He said he was happy because he is a Lakers fan, and he feels like the Lakers got the best part of the trade. Are the Lakers going to go all the way with Luka? Yeah, because I’m a Lakers fan. Why? Because I’m a Lakers fan. Do you think that the Mavericks and the Lakers are going to be in the playoffs against each other? The Mavericks are not even going to make it to the playoffs.

 Luka in his debut game Luka did alright; he didn’t do the best and had a couple of turnovers and mistakes. Luka Doncic had 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. But Anthony Davis did well at his debut but got injured. Anthony Davis had 26 points, 16 rebounds, and 7 assists.
