Have you ever wondered why being kind or showing kindness in the world is important? Everyone should show kindness in the world every day because kindness is a good thing to do for people. After all, it could have a good impact on a person. Being nice could help someone who is going through things. A simple comment, like commenting on their look or their actions, could change their day. It could help them avoid bad thoughts.

Different types of People at our school show various ways of kindness. 7th grader Alenga Amisi tells us how he shows kindness at school. He said he shows kindness by “picking up trash at lunch, and what makes it special is that the staff doesn’t have to do much work.” What Alenga does at lunch is a good way of showing kindness because he is easing the staff’s job and helping the community be a clean school. Being kind to others makes our world a better place. As student Sumahidi Onda shares, “I show kindness at school by helping my fellow Scholars. This is special because it gives the scholars a chance to thrive in other classes they can’t.” When people are kind to each other, it creates a friendly atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and supported. Simple acts of kindness can build stronger friendships and help people work better together.
