Veterans Day is a holiday in the United States celebrated on November 11th every year. It honors all military veterans who have served for many years in the U.S. and sacrificed to provide freedom.
We honor Veterans Day to recognize and appreciate the sacrifices and service of all military veterans who have served in the U.S.
Many communities celebrate Veterans Day with parades, ceremonies, speeches, music, and other activities to show appreciation for veterans and their service to our country.
Ms.Warder explains how “it’s important to recognize the men and women who fight for our country. And that It is something that we take for granted.” Ms.Warder also thinks Veterans should have better mental health care when they come back from war. Her brother still has trouble with loud, unexpected noises and has not been at war in 15 years. They come home and people do not know the trauma that they have been through or the person they had to be while at war.
In closing, we honor the brave by reflecting on their sacrifices and impact on our lives. Without their loyalty and bravery. If they had, we would most likely not have the rights of freedom we have today.
