The Great Disney Debate: What’s the Best Disney Movie of All Time?

What if we could ask every Disney fan: Which Disney movie stands out above all? Today we will dive into students’ opinions about movies that shape their childhood memories! Students at BGJHS have big opinions about Disney movies! We are trying to determine the best Disney movie during the school day. Some common movies are Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and High School Musical.

There are many Disney movies, but Beauty and the Beast stood out to 7th graders Kirbee Hamilton and Anne Michael Hensley the most. “My favorite is probably Beauty and the Beast because I like Belle and all of the songs!” said Hensley. But 7th grader Hamilton also had another opinion. She told us, “I also like High School Musical because I think High School Musical is one of the best movies!”

But what do the other students think? Out of 15 students, there was an average of 8 that picked the movie “High School Musical.” Students enjoyed all of the songs and events that the characters played! On the other hand, the other seven students thought differently. In second place with 2 people is Beauty and the Beast Hensley explained, “I would want to be Belle because she is cool,” if she could be any Disney princess.

Fans of Beauty and the Beast or High School Musical might imagine potential sequels that could explore new adventures for the beloved characters or introduce fresh storylines in those familiar worlds. Hamilton said, “The High School Musical and to have them in college and like them going their different ways and then meeting up again and, Beauty and the Beast, the wedding.”

High School Musical is the Disney movie that stands out above all! With a poll with over 10 students, “High School Musical” reigned supreme. The students told us they enjoyed the songs and dances in the movie. Just like Hamilton mentioned, “I like Beauty and the Beast because that was just a childhood thing. I don’t know why, but I just loved it. I also like High School Musical because I think High School Musical is one of the best movies.” As we take our final bow, let us carry the spirit of High School Musical with us, reminding us that every ending is just a new beginning filled with endless possibilities.
