What’s Your Favorite Movie?

What’s your favorite movie? Is it Avatar, Mean Girls, or maybe even The Outsiders? However, you can’t watch these movies in the theater, making more money and getting more viewers. Just because these movies are getting older doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy them!

Mean Girls
Mean Girls

“Mean Girls” was released in the early 2000s. The movie revolves around a girl who moves to the US and befriends the popular girls. Although this movie was released in 2004, it remains very popular. Lindsay Lohan stars as the new girl who moves to the US from Africa. The film made over 130 million dollars and continues to be enjoyed by many viewers. It is available on Netflix, Paramount, Amazon Prime, and other platforms. It is remarkable that even after many years, this movie maintains its popularity across various platforms.

Avatar: The Way of the Water was made in 2022. Even though it came out a little over two years ago, it is the highest-grossing movie ever at the box office. 1.9 million people watched Avatar the day it came out! This movie alone has made over 2.32 billion dollars. Avatar has made 2 million dollars more than the movie Titanic, even though it was released over 25 years ago. So, even though it has only been 2 years, this movie has made the most money of all time. If you keep reading, you will learn about another great movie called The Outsiders.

The Outsiders

Outsiders:  Ponyboy is the youngest in his family and his gang at 14. Darry is his brother, and despite being a part of the gang, Darry does not want Ponyboy involved in fighting, dropping out of school, or any similar activities. Outsiders is a renowned movie that grossed 33.7 million dollars. While it was trendy in the past, its fame has somewhat diminished over the years. Nonetheless, people still enjoy watching it to this day. It’s important to note that everyone has their favorite movies. For instance, Tierra Nelson’s favorite movie is not Outsiders; it is a different film called Annie. While some individuals may prefer comedy films to horror ones, Tierra Nelson finds joy in watching scary movies to discover what unfolds next. This illustrates how we all have diverse preferences when it comes to our favorite films.

Not everyone shares the same favorite movies, as preferences can vary from old classics to contemporary films. You might have heard about “Mean Girls,” “Avatar,” or “The Outsiders,” but you may have never watched them because we don’t all have the same favorite genre of movies, and that’s what makes it interesting.
