Have you ever wondered why teachers choose their jobs? Some might become teachers just because they want to help kids, but there had to be some inspiration for that, right? Teachers worldwide have inspired many people throughout generations, but we need teachers the most right now to help us progress as a civilization.
Some people might think that teachers simply become teachers, but what inspired them to be teachers? Lots of people might be fond of kids or not, but this is a very key feature in teaching, and that can determine whether someone will be a good teacher or not. We can see this in full effect as Demichal Boyd does not want to be a teacher because he said this: “No, because I am not very fond of having to deal with children at all, because they get on my nerves.” This can change a lot about whether a person decides to be a teacher or not.
Teachers don’t just need to improve their skills but also their students’ abilities. A quote from Mrs. Webb: “I try to make things fun. I try to come at it from when we’re all learning together. I’m not afraid to make mistakes, and I think that’s important to see that mistakes are a part of life.” This can show us that no matter what, teachers are devoted to improving students and allowing them to have fun without too much stress from making mistakes.
Teachers invest in students’ academic goals, but what inspired them to teach kids? Lots of people might think that teachers are born wanting to teach kids, but most have to get over something. We can see this from when Braylon McGuffey says, “I grew up around teachers; my parents are teachers, my grandfather was a teacher, so it was just something in my blood.” Teachers all have their reasons for teaching, but it is a tradition that truly shows how far the value of teachers runs and why so many of them want to teach kids.
Lots of people think that being a teacher is pointless. This is completely untrue. Teachers are necessary for many reasons, but I would like to know what makes a teacher a teacher.
