What strategies do you think you need to succeed in esports?
This year, the esports team at BGJHS showcased key strategies for winning esports matches to encourage others to try new things.
The E-Sports team has been perfecting their strategies for the year. The BGJHS E-Sports team has been showing their strategies the whole year. They’ve been working hard to perfect these strategies so they can win. 7th grader E-Sports player Sebastian Mauro said, “You have to know how to move in the air, hit the ball in the goal, defend, have good teamwork, space out enough, not bump into teammates, and how to have fun.” Finally, these strategies are ways the E-Sports team won these very competitive matches against other schools.
The esports team has many great players with many great attributes. The players have many different great attributes, like how they’re hardworking, have great teamwork, and more. Esports coach Jon Staggs said, “Someone who can handle a loss ok and won’t get super upset and not get mad at a teammate, someone who’s dependable, someone who encourages the team, and also looks at what teammates are doing and helps them.” These attributes helped the E-Sports players get their 12 wins and five losses during their last season.
The E-Sports team takes a lot of things into account when it comes to getting prepared before games. This includes communication, teamwork, skills, adaptability, and chemistry. 8th grader Bejazid Muskic stated, “You need chemistry and teamwork.” These things have helped the E-Sports team achieve a 12-5 record, with many things going their way. In conclusion, the E-Sports team takes preparation seriously, and many things need to happen to be prepared.
Some strategies you need to succeed in e-sports are learning how to move in the air, having good teamwork, and most importantly, having fun.
