Across the world, there are 450 million native speakers who speak many languages. Many people in America speak quite a few other dialects from another state that they came from, and they may be learning other dialects.
Students in BGJHS speak many languages in school with their friends who speak the same language as them.
Speaking a new language can be fun, and you strengthen yourself just to feel so joyful about it. 8th grade Maria Bartolo Francisco shared, “I feel happy about learning a new language because when I was growing up I knew some people would need help.”
Adults might be learning a new language and probably want to become a teacher and help out others who want to learn the language, Ms. Flemester explained, “I always enjoyed Spanish and wanted to be able to share the love and joy of the Spanish language and the cultures around the world that speak it.”
Teachers in any school may have been teaching a language for so long and it might make them teach more depending on the language they teach Ms. Ferrel shared, “During graduate school, I lived for 1 year in Vienna (Austria) and over the years have enjoyed shorter stays in several different parts of Germany. These stays include 9 trips I have taken with students. Our students get to live with families and experience life as a German teenager.”
All over the earth, so many people speak different languages everywhere, wherever you go. About 68 million people speak different languages in America.
