Did you know 25% of sports teams get a new coach every 3 years? The girls basketball team here at BGJHS just got a new coach. The Girls basketball team here at BGJHS was in need of a new basketball coach, so they got one. This season the girls have a new coach, a new person to see their ups and downs, and their skill. This will be important because this new coach could bring them to win state this year!
By having a new coach this new coach could see things that other coaches haven’t yet seen that they need to fix. 7th grader Georgia Martinez says “ I think coach Will could notice things that other coaches haven’t because he’s more experienced and is better and calming down and just noticing things like that.”
The new basketball coaches seem to be setting the girls up for success and are pushing them in the right direction.8th grader Lola Kate Kington says “ Coach Will is setting us up for success and is giving up a lot of confidence for the season’.
The new girls basketball coach is very motivating and pushes us to do our best. 6th Grader Addison Hamilton “Coach Will is not strict but he’s very motivating and teaches us new things and is helping us a lot in the long run because he wants to see us getting better, and succeed”
The girls see this opportunity to work with the new basketball coach as an amazing opportunity. 7th Grader Trinity Jones says “ I love the new basketball coach,I think it’s a great opportunity to get to work with him because I think he’s going to make us better and gain our confidence in ourselves.”
