The Bowling Green Junior High School Journalism class writes articles published weekly to inform students about school, community, and more.
Many students have different experiences in Journalism. 7th grader Bentley Barton said, “ I have had a fun experience in Journalism because I get to talk to my friends and learn more each day.”
Many students face many challenges in Journalism. 8th grader Gavin Toomey said, “I have had many challenges in journalism, such as conducting interviews. Gavin Toomey also said, “Conducting interviews is a challenge for me because I try to ask the people I’m interviewing good questions so that they would give me excellent answers.”
Journalism has impacted students in a variety of ways. 8th grader Jordan Hill mentioned, “Journalism has impacted my life because it has helped me use stronger vocabulary in other classes and it has helped me with my sentence structure in other classes such as English.”
A variety of students have had an amazing experience in Journalism from the beginning of the school year until now. 8th grader Gavin Toomey stated, “My experience is a lot better because I know more people now and I also know the teacher now.”
A diversity of students enjoy many things about Journalism 8th grader Jordan Hill mentioned, “ I enjoy writing different articles weekly and working with my peers because it helps me learn and grow each day.”
Mrs.Cook faces a diversity of challenges each day teaching. Journalism teacher Mrs.Cook said, “I face many challenges, but pulling students out of class or scheduling interviews is one challenge that me and my students face because it could be disturbing to some teachers and impact students’ ability to learn.”
