Have you heard of WyldLife? If not, then here are some things you should know. Wyldlife is a Christian club for middle school kids. Wyldlife Life in Bowling Green, KY, started in 2014. Wyldlife holds events after school such as an out-of-town fall weekend, jump air zone, summer camp, and club! Also on Tuesdays, you can meet in the library for Bible study and donuts. Leaders Nick Dorsey and Jess Arlinghaus have some important information they want to add.
Throughout the year, leaders of Wyldlife Club in Bowling Green, Kentucky, learn about God and grow as better people.
Wyldlife leader Jess Arlinghaus is the 7th-grade girl leader in the club. Jess impacts so many lives day after day, helping people with many different things. She leads the group in her bible study every Wednesday morning! Arlinghaus said, “So before I was a Wyldlife leader, I felt very lost and depressed in life and just kind of wondered why I was on Earth and what I was supposed to be doing. I think Wyldlife and being a leader gave me a large sense of purpose in meaning for my life.” This can show us how Wyldlife can have a BIG impact on not only students’ lives but even adults!
7th grader Myers Caudill is a student at Wyldlife Club. She has made many memories and has had a lot of fun throughout the year. Caudill said, “What is important about this club is that you get to learn about Jesus and his teachings, and you just grow and be a better person because you’re a lot nicer and you know how to be a better person.” This shows Wyldlife is inspiring and how important it is to learn because you get to learn about Jesus and pray!
6th grader Lydia Shultz is a student at Wyldlife Club. This is her first year in Wyldlife, and so far, she has grown! Shultz said, “What inspired me to join this club was probably what my brother did the year before, and he said that it was enjoyable and it would help me in my faith.” This conveys the idea that Wyldlife members can inspire other people to join! Praying, worshiping, and learning about Jesus and God can help people through tough times too!
Overall, Wyldlife can touch people’s lives with happiness, and it can help you with many things for so many people! Like Wyldlife leader Nick Dorsey said, “I’d like to add that Wyldlife is for every kid. It doesn’t matter where you come from, where you live, or what elementary school you went to; it’s for every kid on every sports team from every part of the school, and we hope that everyone feels welcome.” Nick is a big leader that influences students, teenagers, and even adults! Wyldlife is good because you can learn about Jesus and God! But the BIG question is… are you going to join this astonishing club?
