Teachers look for students who follow the pride expectations and always do the right thing, even when no one is watching. These students need to be respectful to everyone around them. They also need to get their work done on time and follow all the school rules. By showing these positive behaviors, students show that they are responsible and trustworthy.
Some advice the teachers would provide to the students who are interested in getting leadership lunch. A teacher, Ms. Kemmer, said if a student wanted to get leadership luncheon, I would tell them, “To exhibit the pride qualities not only once a day but every day, come prepared and be respectful, do the right thing when no one is looking, always be doing what they are supposed to do and be dependable, make sure others can count on you to give effort and always do your best.”
7th grader Daire Wardlow believes she has gotten picked for leadership lunch by doing things right even when she is not told to and by being a leader. Daire Wardlow also said,, “I have gotten picked for leadership luncheon by Being respectful, paying attention, answering questions, and asking questions if needed because when the teachers areĀ looking for students they are looking for students, who follow the pride expectations.”
The Leadership Luncheon is a reward and a well-deserved break for those who consistently exhibit these qualities It’s a chance to relax. This recognition can motivate students to continue striving for excellence, dedication, and responsibility.
