Imagine lots of your friends having fun and dancing to the rhythm and the song’s beat playing in the background. Right now, that image in your head will be the same at the upcoming Boo-Bash school dance.
The upcoming Halloween Boo Bash Dance will take place on October 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 in the gymnasium at the BGJHS. This dance is a chance for people to show their creativity with their costumes. The BGJHS Dance Team will host a Halloween Boo Bash dance for grades 6-8 on October 25th, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the gym, offering students a fun night to dance and showcase their costumes.
At the upcoming Halloween dance, there will be many things to snack on and drink, like “Coke Diet Coke Sprite Dr Pepper, and lots of candy, candy bars chips, and cookies,” stated assistant dance coach and journalism teacher Amelia Cook.
The theme of the Halloween Dance is “Boo-Bash,” because we want kids to wear their costumes whether it’s individually, with a friend, or even with a big group of friends. You’re just going to be fun, you know, seeing everybody in their different costumes, seeing how groups kind of plan their costumes together, looking at really cool and unique outfit ideas, and cool makeup to go along with their costumes, I think it’s going to be fun,” stated Cook.
There will be many types of entertainment at the dance, like, “A great DJ, DJ Dakota, is coming. He’s going to have great music and light shows at the dance, and then we also have a photographer coming. He is going to be offering photo passes to the kids so that they can do fun photo booth photos,” Cook claimed. There will also be cool glow-in-the-dark and light-up accessories that students can purchase.
The upcoming BGJHS Boo-Bash dance will be a good time with your friends, so come over for a fun few hours away from schoolwork with friends.
